Step by step

Use Customer Receipts for money received from customers, including invoice settlements.

Use Customer Payments for money paid back to customers, including refunds.

Use Vendor Receipts for money received from suppliers, such as rebates or returned overpayments.

Use Vendor Payments for money paid to suppliers.
- 5
Select a cash or bank account when appropriate so the transaction records the matching account movement.
Good to know
Receipt always means money in. Payment always means money out. The customer or vendor identifies the other party.
